Entirely the fault of ferociousbcycad

If you comment…

1. I’ll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I’ll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I’ll name something we should do together.
4. I’ll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I’ll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
7. I’ll ask you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people.

      • You are always good for engaging and entertaining conversations.

      • 2. I’ll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
      • I was going to say “Past the Point of Rescue” , but then I changed my mind to “Romeo’s Tune”. But then I decided that Witichta Lineman (Glen Cambell) was the real answer.

      • 3. I’ll name something we should do together.
      • Go see Al Steward and sing They Miight Be Giants!!!

      • 4. I’ll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
      • Something about cormorants. Or perhaps ketchuppy.

      • 5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
      • The look on your face when you were trying to answer the “what do you do” question at that wine tasting and you were a little stalled on how much “geeky” to reveal…- your look of relief when I said I was a web geek was priceless. (As was showing you Movieminder on my PDA!).

      • 6. I’ll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
      • “No regrets, I’ve got time on my side”

      • 7. I’ll ask you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
      • Wow. Why, Larry? Why? (Which is to say that The Book of Larry would probably be an interesting read… ;-)

        Hmmm…in, perhaps, a Ted-Kaczinsky-sort-of way…? ;-)

He *seemed* like such a nice guy… quiet…

    I just have one question

Is it cheating if I comment even though I don’t have an LJ or a blog?

Of course not, Kyle! Lemme think on it…

        1. I’ll respond with something random I like about you. You are always kind, Kyle, and that’s pretty amazing in today’s world.
        2. I’ll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. Nothing specific here, but any 80s music will do… hm. Now that I think about it, perhaps some 80s music that had a wind ensemble!
        3. I’ll name something we should do together. I’d love to meet your faimily!
        4. I’ll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me). Not quite just you and me, but close: the dyquettes!
        5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.I remember seeing you through the window in that first floor rehearsal hall playing clarinet (is that right?)
        6. I’ll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you. Sharon Belville “I bit a Kyle-thing”
        7. I’ll ask you something that I’ve always wondered about you. What do you do for fun these days?
        8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people.

    sharon

Well, since our paths have cross a mere handful of times over the last 20 years, this oughta be good ;-) (Although I’ve probably seen you more than most people from ’84-’85.)

    Sharon

PS for #8 — I don’t have a blog, but my sister ’91 usually is up for a meme on hers (http://poutplace.blogspot.com)

      Re: sharon

      1. I’ll respond with something random I like about you. Sharon, you always have kept your head and your sense of humor — no matter how oooky things got!
      2. I’ll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. For whatever reason, Video Killed the Radio Star popped into my head. Can’t say I understand it, though.
      3. I’ll name something we should do together. It would be too fun to have a “slumber party” back at the school, complete with me running down the hall to get to you guys’ room!
      4. I’ll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me). Tee hee. Anything I came up with would likely make sense to about 9 of us. Geez. I miss that!
      5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.I don’t think this is first (or even clearest, necessarily), but I remember sitting in your and Erika’s room yapping and listening to music and playing cards — I think you taught me quite a bit of bridge, did you not?
      6. I’ll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you. Oh so many to choose from… how about: “Why is always the question because because is never the answer.”
      7. I’ll ask you something that I’ve always wondered about you. What (if anything) do you wish you’d done differently?
      8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people.

        Re: sharon

        2. can’t say i understand it either, but could be worse!
        5. not me — i never quite got bridge. spades, probably — that was the card addiction of choice.
        7. don’t know where to start…there’s always stuff from high school that probably doesn’t mean all that much in the big picture, but i could probably come up with some instances with my 3-year-old just from today, sigh. (or i’ll just set up a fund for his future therapist…)
        8. maybe i’ll post here with some thoughts for you, heh heh…
